12-Pack Demineralization Cartridge

Each cartridge is designed for use in ultrasonic humidifiers with 1-gallon or larger tanks. Dimensions: approximately 8.5 cm height × 3.5 cm diameter (typical for UHE-HDC4-style cartridges). Made from ion-exchange resin media, housed in food-grade polypropylene casing. Compatible with HoMedics models UHE-CM65, UHE-WM70, UHE-OC1, UHE-CM45B, UHE-CM25, UHE-WM16, UHE-OW14, UHE-WM85 — and broadly fits most 1-gallon+ ultrasonic humidifiers including select Vicks, LEVOIT, Honeywell and Homasy units. The cartridge reduces mineral carryover by exchanging calcium, magnesium and other dissolved ions in hard water with sodium ions, thereby preventing white dust dispersion into the air. This helps maintain consistent mist output and supports long-term internal cleanliness of the humidifier’s transducer and water tank. Ideal for UK households using tap water with moderate to high hardness (e.g., London, South East England). Simple drop-in installation requires no tools; replace every 30–40 tank refills depending on local water hardness.
