A surface-mount temperature-compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO) with ±0.5PPM frequency stability over temperature. The module integrates a precision compensation network to maintain output consistency despite environmental temperature shifts. Constructed with a polycarbonate (PC) body and configured in a standard 4-pin SMD package, it supports plug-and-play installation into compatible amateur radio transceivers. Verified compatibility includes Yaesu FT-817, FT-857 and FT-897 models. Physical installation requires powering down the device, accessing the internal crystal location, removing the existing unit, aligning pins correctly, and reseating — no calibration or software setup needed post-installation.
